Did you spot the tub of I Can't Believe it's Not Butter in the photo of my fridge in my last post? On second thought, you can't see it, but it's in there.
I had a chance to shelve my butter for a few days, and experiment with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. I use butter when I bake, and when I make things like toast, waffles, or grilled cheese. I was curious though, to see if it had a buttery taste, because when you compare the two, ICBINB comes out ahead of butter nutrition wise. It has less fat (8g vs. 11 g), less saturated fat (2g vs. 7g) zero cholesterol (butter has 30 mg), and 460mg of Omega-3's.
It does have a stronger butter flavor, which really came out when I made Rice Krispie Treats, and I don't know if it had anything to do with this, but my chocolate chip cookies came out in perfect circles. We used it to sautee onions and garlic, it melted very easily and we again noticed the buttery flavor.

We melted some ICBINB to have with steamed clams, and weren't big fans, butter was the winner in that case. You do need to keep it in the fridge, but unlike butter, it spreads very easily while cold.

I already use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter." I like the texture and the taste. If I won, I would use it for every day stuff: baked potatoes, buttery toast, etc.
I follow on Google Reader.
I've used this before and I'll take anything that's free, so sign me up!
I use the spray and would like to try the spread.

I've really always bought the same butter without realizing it, but your review is really good so I think I would love to try this kind! I would use it to make many things but especially for No Bake Cookies!

My husband has high cholesterol but that doesn't stop him from getting into the butter. As a butter lover myself, I'd like to try it for cooking and baking.
Thanks for the chance to win. I would use it on bread plain and simple to see if it really tastes like butter?
Hi Molly, I'm a follower also
I tweeted and posted on facebook too.
Wow, I never thought that cookies would come out well with ICBINB, but after seeing yours, that would be the first thing I'd make with it!!
And I'm a follower, of course :)
I already use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, but usually only as a spread on bagels and toast and the like. I think I'm going to have to try it with my cookies, especially if it helps them stay pretty and roundiful-looking!
I came over from MBC!
I use it and I have tried 3 of the varieties already. It's my favorite spread!
I'm a follower!
I'd love to try this for the first time

I've made cookies with the sticks, and it really DOES taste like butter!
I need a way to cut calories, so I'm really interested in trying this. I'll post a link on Twitter to qualify - thanks very much!
