I try, but it's never just three things on a Thursday

1. Yesterday I ran for a second time, and again it went great.  I'm kind of taking this whole cross training thing day by day, whatever exercise I do, ride my bike, something from the Exercise On Demand channel, a rest day, depends on how I feel.  It was unseasonably warm here yesterday, and gorgeous out, although the trees are really looking bare, so many of the leaves have fallen.  I decided to head outside, and truly escaped into my run, I didn't look at G-Unit until I passed a woman walking her dog, I had gone 2.3 miles and was running a 8:45 pace!! I didn't want Hammy to explode, so I slowed way down. I was good, and stuck to my planned 3 miles, but when I got home I didn't want it to end.  So I grabbed my bike, and set off again, for 20 minutes, I only went home at that point because I was starving.   Success!!

2. I think I'm over the Biggest Loser this season, as it is I watch it after it starts, so I can fast forward through all of the extra crap they pad into the episode.  None of the contestants are doing it for me either, although I do love it when Curtis Stone shows up.  On the other hand, I think the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might be the best season ever.  I love that the woman who played Tia from Escape to Witch Mountain is on it, and it's going to get good when the whole Kelsey Grammer divorce plays out.

3. When buying Halloween candy, I made sure to buy Baby Ruths, in case the kids don't get any when they're out trick or treating. I LOVE those babies, and eat them once a year, which will be this Sunday.....

4. If you didn't see it, I have a small giveaway tied into my 300th post, which you can find here.

I'm a huge BL fan and this season is just so weird to me. Everyone I love it getting voted off! I was so sad when Rick and Adam were sent home. And I can't stand Brenden! Brenden and Frado fight like little kids! And I am so over Jessica...she seems snotty and I want to cut her hair off! I really don't have a favorite anymore...maybe Mark. But yeah, I start late and then fast forward through all the crying. :)

You know... this is the first season of BL that I haven't watched. Just couldn't get into it. But I love me some Real Housewives! :)

And I'm so with you on Baby Ruth's, but unlike you, I don't buy them because unless I bought them at 5:59 on Trick or Treat night, they wouldn't make it! :)

I agree about BL - I love this show, but this season I just can't get into it - I find it boring and irritating. I haven't even watched the last two episodes yet!

Sounds like a great workout last night!

Nice job on the run!! And, I too, am having a hard time getting into this seasons BL. I don't even know what it is because I usually love it! Of course, it didn't help that this weeks episode was preempted by a basketball game!

Do I hear duathlon calling your name in 2011?

I still watch BL, though 90% are whiners, I still think something good will come out of it when someone finally wakes up and figures out the real reason they are their

I love baby ruths too

You've got the right attitude in this post-marathon season. Go by feel.

I always watch BL on Thursday nights cause I tape it too! I just hate to have to sit through all the stupid stuff. Idk, I don't want to watch it but I am sort of addicted and like to see the transformations.

I'm normally into Biggest Loser but am also having trouble getting into this one. Ugh! You're so funny with the baby ruths! I bought candy that I didn't like so I wouldn't eat all of it before Halloween is actually here! The hubs was not so psyched about the Tootsie Roll mix! Lol!

I hate Baby Ruth's so I won't be by your house! I bought M+Ms!

Good call with the new pic, it's great.
And smart to take advantage of the good weather. We still have plenty of leaves on the trees, a beautiful time to be out. I have a feeling they'll take a hit over the next few days with a cold spell arriving. Enjoy the candy this weekend.

YAY for your 2nd pain-free run!!!!!! So jealous! I am so dreading Halloween candy around the house - I have GOT to stop eating crap...a problem I have when I'm not training for something, grr. I used to be a BL addict but have to say I just haven't been into it the past 3 or 4 seasons...I'm not sure why, just hate all the drama.

I haven't watched BL at all this season. We watch NCIS during it instead. The product placements are a bit exhausting. I love the concept still, but it's just a little too commercial now.

Congrats on getting out for another run!

I agree, I haven't bonded with anyone on BL this season and the ones I started to like, Adam and Rick have both left. I am not ready to turn the channel, but not thrilled yet either.

Baby Ruth's are so freaking good! I steal them out of my little guys bag:) I know, I am a terrible mother!

Enjoy the weekend!
