Get Active Giveaway!

We're at the midway point for the Get Active Challenge, and to celebrate I'm hosting an Amazing Grass Giveaway!!

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I did a 30 day Green Smoothie Challenge with my friend Jennifer. We used, and are still using, Amazing Grass SuperFood and Wheat Grass powders. I love them because they're organic, and one serving helps hit your daily quota of goodness, with the antioxidant equivalent of 7 servings of fruits and vegetables. I have a smoothie for breakfast made with Amazing Grass, I like how I'm starting my day on a good note, and I feel it really re hydrates me after a night listening to Mike snore.

Now, the fun stuff! First, if you order from their website (and you will, they have several types of powders, as well as Energy Bars) use the coupon code ‘sleeper’ and you will save 15% off your order. Very cool.

Second, they are giving one lucky reader a chance to win a Kidz SuperFood Wild Berry Combo! That includes two, 8.5oz bottles of this new flavor, as well as one box of single serving packets! My friend at Amazing Grass said she keeps the packets in her purse, which is very handy. It's a great way to get goodness into your kiddos.....in my house, call it a "milkshake" and it's gone.

So here is how to enter:

1. Go to the Amazing Grass website, and click around. Then come back here and leave me a comment about what you like, or would want more information about.

For additional entries (please leave one comment per additional entry):

1. follow me (come on, I'm fun)
2. link to this giveaway and leave a comment with a link
3. let me know what your favorite smoothie combos are, for yourself or your kids!

This giveaway will end on 10/31 at 5:00 p.m. EST. I'll pick a winner randomly, via a program on my BFF, my laptop.

Great way to end Week Four huh?!

the kids like the idea of the chocolate one, but agree the berry one would be great in smoothie form.
Our current fav. smoothie is the 'incredible hulk' smoothie with spinach, strawberry, banana or whatever other fruit we have.

Yay! Cool giveaway! I keep saying I'm going to try that Amazing Grass, so this would force me to DO IT! Ok, I've had a glass of wine (yes, I know it is only 4:00 here in CO, but it is my rest day), so I'm going to have to do the research on the website a little later. In Arnold's words "I'll be back..."

Alas, not too creative here with my strawberry-watermelon-banans combos! I also add flax and chia seed. I just realized there is no way I will ever win because even if the generator DOES pull my name randomly it will seem rigged! : ) "And the winner is....my friend of 20 years Jennifer!!" Yeah, not gonna happen. Regardless, subscribe to you already. Your posts are wired to my phone!

I checked out the site and feel somewhat overwhelmed! SO much goodness to sort through and I have no idea where to start! I think i would like to start with the kids Superfood! Anything for my little buddy! And I could try it too!

I am not really much of a smoothie person, not sure why. I do like them and when I do I have to pre plan it because I always use fresh fruits that I freeze for the purpose of making the smoothie. I love to freeze blueberries, bananas, strawberries and use them with no ice. Then I add a bit of milk and some protien powder. That is the extent of my smoothie skills!

I would definitely want to learn more about these products and there health benefits.

Our favorite smoothie is some fresh strawberries, frozen blueberries, a banana, a splash of OJ, and some yogurt. Sometimes we switch up the fruit! Peaches are really good and so is frozen tropical fruit!

i am a huge smoothie fan. i always start my day off with a big ol green monster. however i think my favorite smoothie is 1 cup of vanilla soy milk with 1 banana, 1 packet stevita, 1 cup frozen berries (whichever kind). All blended together is thick and creamy

Leave it to you to have a giveaway surrounding "healthy" stuff! Actually I think all the chocolate products sound good (I could use some extra energy from those bars) and I'd like to see some review links on their site... I didn't see any. I'm interested in know what real people think of the taste!

Xenia said...

I follow you... even though you make me feel lazy!

My husband is the smoothie chef in our house. I think the favorite around here is with frozen fruit, juice and yogurt. Nothing too exciting, but they're good.
