Chowhound.

I'm in a curiosity mood again.  As in, food.  What you eat, when you eat it, etcetera and so on.  Yesterday I took a picture of everything I ate, at least I think I did.  Yesterday was an odd day, I ran in the morning and had a ton of errands to do so I didn't eat lunch until late.  Then I was gone for a few hours getting my hair cut and my roots done.  But since it's Wednesday, and some bloggers do the Wordless Wednesday thing, here is my semi wordless food post.

I've been starting my day with this for the past week:

Have to follow it with coffee.

Late lunch was this on a roll with a bit of cheddar cheese and salsa.  I also had some leftover pasta salad that my sister in law made, along with two salt potatoes.

I forgot we had this in the freezer downstairs, it's from Luke's birthday over a month ago.  I only had a couple of bites.

Had to celebrate my hair being one color again with some of this:

Late dinner with Mike, corn on the grill, blackened salmon with salsa, rice with carrots mixed in, field greens with balsamic and avocado.

So, what did you eat?

Oh my goodness, nothing near as healthy as what you ate! I had rice and flax cereal for breakfast, a salad with strawberries, turkey, cheese and carrots for lunch, and baked BBQ chicken with macaroni and cheese and corn for dinner. Then, I had some yogurt covered raisins and carob covered almonds for snacks, with maybe a bunch of Lays chips thrown in!!

Oh, and a ton of Rocky Road ice cream for dessert after dinner! Way more than my fair share!

Your post was innocent enough until the DQ cake. And I almost had the motivation to stop eating for the night.

Time to find the ice cream scoop.

Yesterday I had a yogurt and banana for breakfast, a soy chai tea for my break, some leftover Tokyo Tortilla Lasagna for lunch (I know it sounds weird but it's really good!), and some vegan bechamel sauce (it's made with onions/garlic and tahini) over pasta.

Oh, I threw in a couple Peanut Butter Oreos for good measure. :)

I could totally have corn on the cob every night. Love the little grill marks.

Wow, now I'm hungry! I'll do a post about my eating at some stage, but it might be too long. At the moment I'm upping the distance in training and that means upping the food intake. I more or less eat all the time. My list for the day is very long!

lunch - healthy choice steamers, veggies and fruit, maybe sunchips

snack - yougurt

dinner - depends on my training that night, something loaded with carbs and protein

I ate lots of good food yesterday. Lunch and dinner prepared by others! I had a great panini last night at Busboys and Poets in DC. (I love writing that I am in DC.)

I'll take a serving of the salmon! It sounds delish. Yesterday was blah: left over spaghetti...but it was because preschool graduation had us out of the house for a couple hours right over dinnertime. I have no idea what tonight will bring because our first CSA delivery is today and I don't know what we'll be getting. I'm beyond excited though.

The dinner looks delish! As does that cake, even if it is a month old. We had leftovers last night, but they were delicious because my step-daughter got everything ready so I didn't have to! :)

I had an aweful day of eating yesterday. I was making a carrot cake for the daughter's boyfriend's bday and I had WAY too many prep taste tests and then WAY too big of a piece, or two, later. :P Thankfully, today is a new day!!

That is so funny that you posted this- I have been meaning to photograph an entire day of eats to post, but I always forget breakfast! Yesterday my eats were:

Bfast
Coffee with agave nectar and 1/2 & 1/2
Chobani greek yogurt with 1 cup choc almond granola

Snack
Luna bar

Lunch
leftover homemade whole wheat pizza with garlic, sauce, tomatoes, organic mozz and goat cheese

Snack 1
granny smith apple & peanut butter

Snack 2
two handfuls of nut mix before yoga

Dinner
2 cups baby romaine with sprinkle of goat cheese, tomatoes and Annie's dressing
a cup and a half of organic whole wheat mac n cheese with peas
-glass of red, piece of dark chocolate

That's probably more than you ever wanted to know about my eating habits ;)

My eating habbits are getting better now that I'm off for the summer-breakfast: whole wheat cereal with fruit and whole wheat bagel, lunch: leftover sausage with left over cauliflower and green beans, dinner: hamburger with grilled corn and broccoli with cheese, and a sliver of zuchini bread and cheesecake. Not bad...
(Could have totally skipped the sweets I guess.)
