I ran my dream marathon!

I am going to have do the NYC Marathon justice, with more than one post.  We're heading home in a minute, so I'll be brief for now.

I'm really proud of the way I ran this race, and I know I could have made my goal of 4:30, but due to the number of people, it was hard to do.  The water stops alone were a log jam, and I ate up a bunch of time dodging around people who would literally stop right in front of me.  Plus one mile into the race, a guy wiped out next to me, when he tripped on a wire, so that slowed me down for several seconds.

Anyhow, I managed an 18 minute PR, my final time was 4:51:21.  I feel fantastic right now, and I'm relishing the post race high.

More to come, but check out this profile of me on the blog for Women's Fitness Magazine, you can find it here.

And THANK YOU for all the tweets, emails, and facebook messages, you guys all ROCK!!!
