Marathon....complete!!

This is the very short version. 

My first Marathon involved:

Rain.

Spectacular dry heaving.

Florescent red chafing.

Pauses to stretch the hammy.

Encouraging spectators.

A surprise, supportive one woman pit crew in the form of my friend Karin.

It took me longer than I hoped, but I had a strong last few miles, and I crossed the Finish Line with a smile on my face.


Don't worry.  I'll have an overly detailed, photo laden report tomorrow.

    How awesome are you?
    A few of those items would seem unattractive to the casual reader, but we know that only a good marathon would throw in a bout of dry heaving. Savor those experiences, they'll provide great motivation for years to come.
